Creating Lessons and units Aligned to the CCSS For Mathematics August 5 & 6, 2013 Presented By: Shirley Carlson This two day workshop will assist teachers as they align instructional lessons and units to the CCSS for Mathematics content and the Practice Standards. The framework participants will use for developing these lessons and units will focus on rich tasks that allow for concept exploration and development, higher order thinking skills utilizing Webb's Depth of Knowledge, and performance tasks as called for on PARCC assessment.
